Nutmeg

The Common Nutmeg Shell is high spired with an inflated body whorl and a deep suture. The spire whorls are stongly shouldered. Twisted columella bears two strong folds. Verticle ridges crossed by spiral ribs give a lattice ornament that can look beaded on spire whorls.
